El Niño, La Niña, floods and extended droughts are but a few of the natural disasters being experienced around the world in recent times. All these are being traced to ecological degradation and climate change. People have, therefore, begun to be aware of the need to participate actively in the much needed worldwide efforts to protect the environment and save natural resources from being completely depleted. One of the most important resources of the earth that is being endangered is water. We should, therefore, laud the efforts to use reclaimed water for lawn sprinkler systems in lawn irrigation.
